World Stage Fund: the Celebration Continues

Kelly Strayhorn announced and describes the goals for World Stage Fund:

Dear Friends,

Many of you were able to join us for our World Stage Fund Launch Party last month. Together, we celebrated the recent news of our generous grant from The Benter Foundation and raised a glass to KST’s ongoing mission of bringing renowned artists from around the globe to Pittsburgh. Check out these great pictures of the evening from photographer Brandon McMillan. Many thanks again to our gracious hosts, Manny and Debra Reich!

Thanks you once more for celebrating with us, and I hope to see you again soon at the U.S. premiere of two new works from Cuba’s Malpaso Dance Company. KST will reveal the challenge grant from the Benter Foundation at this time as well, inviting all audience members to become a member of the World Stage Fund with a matching gift to help us claim these funds. We invite you to be a part of this exciting initiative as well, by generously donating funds to match this challenge. Art has the power to bridge cultural gaps and bring us closer together. Together we can continue to showcase innovative, international talent at this historic theater.

I invite you to join us once more on February 27th and 28th at 8 PM as we welcome Malpaso to Pittsburgh. Their premiere has been listed as one of the “don’t miss” arts happenings in February. We anticipate that these performances, like many of our past WSF presentations, will be one not to miss. See you at the theater!

Warm Regards,
