#FeatureFriday - Trim Pittsburgh
This #FeatureFriday we are proud to show off Trim Pittsburgh! Trim was started and is currently owned by Thomas West. He started Trim in 2014 and the business has been very successful. Trim carries more than 40 brands from around the world including Giorgio Armani, Sol Angeles, Wesc, Vuori, and more. They offer styles such as underwear, socks, swimwear, shirts, and more!
Prior to Trim, Thomas was an award winning news producer and also worked at WPXI and WTAE here in Pittsburgh. I asked Thomas why he started Trim and he mentioned that many times when you go to the mall or shop around, the clothing stores are targeted at women or have a larger selection for women than men. He expressed that he felt there was a need for more clothing stores dedicated to men which is where the inspiration to open Trim came from. His brand is being recognized all over the world & his customers are local and international.
Looking around the store, it was completely stocked with a wide variety of his products. Thomas listens to his customers and when they are interested in a particular brand or product, he tries his best to carry it at Trim. The store has a very sleek and modern vibe with unique brands and styles. Everything in the store is folded and placed neatly which makes it easy and enjoyable to locate the items that you want. Tom worked in Abercrombie and Fitch years ago and has some retail experience from that job. Other than that, he has figured out the process on his own!
